Preconceptions---UKS Art Journal

I was not feeling too good the last day or two so went to the doctor today.  Got some pills so I should be feeling better soon.  I finished my 2nd page for the UKS Art Journal course.  The prompt was Preconceptions: do you like your art?,what will people say about same, will you look for guidance: and this was my interpretation:

Background: painted with metalics acrylics  Decoart paint in Ice blue, & Purple pearl.
Edges: Gesso through Prima edge mask, &sprayed with copper spray mist (tattered angels),& lemon yellow (procion dye).
Border stamp--Blonde Moments, quote stamp---Penny Black, honeycomb & flourish stamp---Scrollswork

The sun ray mask ---Silhouette studio die cut painted with thinned gesso.

The two angels are diecuts cut on Craft Robo & painted with Inktense watersoluble crayons - baked earth & tangarene
Wing die cut -- Tim Holtz cut from a baby wipe that I had used cleaning up from making the cover.--so dont throw away those babywipes!  Hand sew with gold thread, & mod podged to page.
Two word stamps from--7 gypsies - disclaimer, Angels outlined with black sharpie.  That's my page.

Here are a few cards I made last year.

This was for our dd wedding .
 Papers used K&Co-wedding selection.
